About the roles
This is a rare opportunity for a permanent full-time position, offering 76 hours per fortnight. A set roster is on offer to allow for a work life balance.
About you
We are particularly interested in applicants who has a minimum of 24 months experience supporting individuals in complex Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments.
We are seeking an applicant who is seeking full time employment and who can commit to an ongoing set roster, which includes sleepover shifts.
Proficiency with the below requirements is a distinct advantage.
- Post Basal Ganglia Stroke support
- Bipolar
- PTSD
- Restrictive practices
- MAYBO
- Positive Behaviour Support Plans
A tertiary qualification, ideally with a minimum Certificate III level in Disability or Aged Care, would be considered highly desirable.
Relevant probity items required
- a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- a Positive Notice – Blue Card
- an Open Queensland Driver’s Licence
- a reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- a current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- a reliable smartphone with data
- completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’.
