What We’re Looking For

You bring:

  • At least 12 months’ experience in complex SIL environments
  • A calm, non-judgemental approach with strong professional boundaries
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts (including overnight and short notice)
  • Certificate III or higher in Disability or Aged Care highly regarded
  • Confidence supporting participants with diverse and complex needs, including:
    • Intellectual or physical disability
    • Dementia
    • PEG care
    • Stiff Person’s Syndrome
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Epilepsy, diabetes & catheter management
    • Hoisting & high personal care
    • Autism, cerebral palsy, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, stroke recovery

Where You Might Work

Locations include (but aren’t limited to):
Mudjimba, Nambour, Banya, Nirimba, Baringa, Currimundi, Maroochydore, Woombye, Beerwah, and Alexandra Headland.

What You’ll Need

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Yellow Card)
  • Blue Card
  • Open QLD Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Smartphone with data
  • Completion of NDIS ‘Quality, Safety and You’ module
