What We’re Looking For
You bring:
- At least 12 months’ experience in complex SIL environments
- A calm, non-judgemental approach with strong professional boundaries
- Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts (including overnight and short notice)
- Certificate III or higher in Disability or Aged Care highly regarded
- Confidence supporting participants with diverse and complex needs, including:
- Intellectual or physical disability
- Dementia
- PEG care
- Stiff Person’s Syndrome
- Tracheostomy care
- Epilepsy, diabetes & catheter management
- Hoisting & high personal care
- Autism, cerebral palsy, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, stroke recovery
Where You Might Work
Locations include (but aren’t limited to):
Mudjimba, Nambour, Banya, Nirimba, Baringa, Currimundi, Maroochydore, Woombye, Beerwah, and Alexandra Headland.
What You’ll Need
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Yellow Card)
- Blue Card
- Open QLD Driver’s Licence
- Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- Smartphone with data
- Completion of NDIS ‘Quality, Safety and You’ module
